Featured artist: Klyche' – The streets talking about the raw & uncut pain rap is back.
As part of our ongoing “Raps New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Klyche' from Norfolk to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…
Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Klyche'! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?
Klyche': Originally it was a death in my family from someone I held close to me and people close to me getting incarcerated. An I didn't know how to express the pain and over time it gotten worse so decided to take a talent and a passion I had and create art in the studio.
In this industry you have to treat it like a business. And if you don't hold yourself to a high value you will get overlooked and the short end of the stick. Stay relevant but true to yourself.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I have a few shows coming up in the local area an possibly putting a small tour up with the bordering states .
Best punchline you ever wrote?
"government stricken troubling visions of being America's property , ni#&a be readin the prophecy , praying instead of apologies".
