The streets talking about the raw & uncut pain rap is back.

Featured artist: Klyche' – The streets talking about the raw & uncut pain rap is back.

As part of our ongoing “Raps New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Klyche' from Norfolk to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Klyche'! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

Klyche': Originally it was a death in my family from someone I held close to me and people close to me getting incarcerated. An I didn't know how to express the pain and over time it gotten worse so decided to take a talent and a passion I had and create art in the studio.

In this industry you have to treat it like a business. And if you don't hold yourself to a high value you will get overlooked and the short end of the stick. Stay relevant but true to yourself.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I have a few shows coming up in the local area an possibly putting a small tour up with the bordering states .

Best punchline you ever wrote?

"government stricken troubling visions of being America's property , ni#&a be readin the prophecy , praying instead of apologies".

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Just recently I dropped a in studio video out now on YouTube titled "F&#k a Rapper". An I have a few others streaming on major platforms as well including another single titled "sauce" and a EP released titled "Blood & Water". Currently I'm working in my official project called "Therapy shxT" dropping very soon.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I definetly would in the paperwork was right. Meaning if the stipulations an guidelines were all layed out on the table on an it wasn't no funny business. An the money definetoy has to be right .because if it's not I would hate to look like some of these artists crying about how they cannot wait to get out of there contract because they can't release what they want or when they want.

Any last words?

Definetly want to give praise to the most high God , my mother, my father , all my brothers Q, bam , terell, quis, Jay, an Brandon an a few others. I'm coming out of Jacksonville NC an was raised all over NC . So I'm repping my city an the state.
