As part of our ongoing “Rap’s New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Youngworldibi from Lancaster to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…
Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Youngworldibi! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?
Youngworldibi: It was always something I was good at since a teen, now after being locked up it was only right to chase the dream. This been a long time in the making, and just getting started.
No matter how hard it gets and how down you get about your music not making much progress just keep on going and growing as an artist. If you have the talent eventually people are going to hear you and start listening to your music. Just continue to create, grow as an artist, and promote your music!
What about concerts? Do you play live?
Have not yet performed. When the time comes I will be ready.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I told y’all this wasn’t a game. There’s no stopping now. This music is gonna keep on coming until I get my foot in the door.
