As part of our ongoing “Rap’s New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist BabyBlue from Orange county to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…
Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, BabyBlue! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?
BabyBlue: I told myself that this is what I want, I've always had a way with my words, I fit in everywhere but at the same time no where. The way that I feel, people feel like this everyday, so If I can do something that I love while making someone's life better then that's what I wanna do. Supported or not by my family, by my friends, idc who I gotta go against this is my dream yet to be a reality,
No one gives me advice, I'm usually the one who gives it , but If I had to give any advice show love to the people who even dont deserve it, theres so much hate in the world, it makes me wanna spread the love more.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I've never once played live or had my own concert, itll happen with time. Till then I'll just keep grinding.
Best punchline you ever wrote?
I came here to be the best, whatd you come here for?
