Let Em Talk

Featured artist: KiddxCold – Let Em Talk

As part of our ongoing “Rap’s New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist KiddxCold from Louisville, KY to talk about her recent music, her upcoming projects, her career advice and her overall experiences being in the music industry and she did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, KiddxCold! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

KiddxCold: A lot of my family members were into music whether is was singing, rapping, playing instruments it ran in the family. Everyone expressed themselves in there own way doing their own thing and my way to express myself was through poetry which turned into rap and from there the journey begun.

The best advice given to had to be "when the sky seems like its falling, Just know your strong enough to hold it u"

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Haven't had a concert of any sort lately just been getting my music together making mixtapes, EPs, & singles with other local artist in my city. Networking with producers from out of state and other stuff going on so I have been pretty busy but I haven't yet performed or showed this talent to an audience yet.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

No Mileage cause there is no limit to the things I can do

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Released a few play around singles on Soundcloud. But as far as any new recent music like I said before I am working on EP, Mixtapes, & Singles so just be patient and work with me… The heat is coming, I promise !

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes i would sign a contract but not just any contract that contract has to benefit me as an artist and Not just think everything is about the money. Don't get me wrong I want my money but it's not always about that when it comes to my music.
The pros are you get noticed they help promote and get your name out there as a artist, help gain endorsements and stuff but the con is like I said are they really down for you as an artist and doing things to benefit you or the label.

Any last words?

Shoutout 812 to the 502. Shoutout D'Shay & KiddxFinesse from our No Mileage team. Shoutout the the man above for keeping me going daily & giving me a chance to oush towards my dream !
