It’s what I do!!!

Featured artist: BriDgeThaGaP – It’s what I do!!!

As part of our ongoing “Raps New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist BriDgeThaGaP from San Diego to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, BriDgeThaGaP! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

BriDgeThaGaP: To be honest, my inspiration came after Kanye West dropped “Jesus Walks”, I found myself in a place of hypocritical judgement wanting to better music and use the platform of influence to minister to the masses. I initially began writing to instrumentals or formulating poetry to express myself and once figured things out, I knew I wanted to be an trusty.

Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it and don’t stop. Keep going!!!

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I do play live shows and concerts. Currently looking for a band to elevate my live show.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Yes. I’d sign a record contract

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I’m currently working on a few different collaborations and features. I have a Christmas project coming out in December. I’m also working on the follow up to my 7 song project released in June 2018 “Her: Thatpart 1”

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, I’d sign a record contract. Established labels provide “the machine”. The pros are brand awareness, experience, network, resources, and potential advancement. The cons are possibly artist creativity being affected or financial compensation being less with more people’s hands in the pot.

Any last words?

To the creator, my family, friends, my suppoters and those who don’t.

Where can we contact you?

BriDgeThaGaP: Confirmed

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
