Independent artist makes fanbase in Mexico

Featured artist: Homeless Holden – Independent artist makes fanbase in Mexico

As part of our ongoing “Raps New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Homeless Holden from Rock Hill to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Homeless Holden! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

Homeless Holden: I decided to become an artist to share my true stories of life on the run and as a foster child who was never adopted.

To follow my heart and that I would make it for sure!

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I play live music both pre-recorded and freestyles and concerts both in North America and South America.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

I don't like to blend in so I stay on the grind!

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am currently working on a new mixtape entitled ' Days Of My Life' and have released two previous projects available wherever music is heard or sold named 'Street Lights' & 'Street Lights 2'.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

It would have to truly benefit me more than I benefit myself by being independent. Pros would be an advancement check and the cons would be that you lose your independence not only as an artist but but perhaps personally as well.

Any last words?

Shout outs go to Blame Chef, Luckie Luciano and every single person I inspire along the way! Shout out to Legendary Ent. for always supporting me in any endeavors along the way!!

Where can we contact you?
