New Begginigs!

Featured artist: BabyBlue – New Begginigs!

As part of our ongoing “Rap’s New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist BabyBlue from Orange county to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, BabyBlue! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

BabyBlue: I told myself that this is what I want, I've always had a way with my words, I fit in everywhere but at the same time no where. The way that I feel, people feel like this everyday, so If I can do something that I love while making someone's life better then that's what I wanna do. Supported or not by my family, by my friends, idc who I gotta go against this is my dream yet to be a reality,

No one gives me advice, I'm usually the one who gives it , but If I had to give any advice show love to the people who even dont deserve it, theres so much hate in the world, it makes me wanna spread the love more.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I've never once played live or had my own concert, itll happen with time. Till then I'll just keep grinding.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

I came here to be the best, whatd you come here for?

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I'm currently working on singles I've already written 10 I'd love to spoil, it and tell you more but, if you really wanna see me and you wanna fuck with me then do it. But I dont want fake fans or fake friends, keep it real and either stick with me or dont, if we starve together we eat together, if you eat alone, say less

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I'd sign one right now, but if your not prepared for what I wanna do then I'm not the one. Fuck any rapper who promotes anything but weed. Because if you really call yourself a rapper, rock star, or musician, and you dont realize that kids listen to your music and they look up to, and you sit here in your music, social media, and real life promote things that are bad for everyone especially the kids. Then your not about the culture and your a fake as bitch who In it for the clout. My waves coming either get on or get off but I'm not stopping, that's a promise!

Any last words?

To the community and people going through things in life it ain't easy and itll never be, but I promise that I'll never forget where I came from ima always come back, and shout out to myself for beliving in me before anyone ever did.

Where can people follow you to stay up-to-date?

BabyBlue: Listen to R.I.P Dad by BabyBlue #np on #SoundCloud

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.

Support the culture.
