As part of our ongoing “Raps New Generation” series, today we sat down with the upcoming underground artist Bossalena from San Antonio to talk about his recent music, his upcoming projects, his career advice and his overall experiences being in the music industry and he did not disappoint…

Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Bossalena! Let’s go back to the beginning of your career. How did you decide to become an artist?

Bossalena: Bein part and around family full of talent from dad being a dj my mom can sing and my brother can do it all from playing instruments to beats to rapping started with family talent shows then started music with my brother mars og who help create Bossalena The Female Don.

Beat advice was from my mom (rip) if music is what you wanna do dont stop stay focus and be good and your craft i have never stopped and a master at what i do.


What about concerts? Do you play live?

Yes i perform live best part of my music is the live show high energy and lit for sure. And yes i put on events and concerts also

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Go gettas low riders yea we all that / We chase chesse like we some gutta rats / im in love with my money like im in love with my raps


What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am working on my new project off my collection series titled Female Don Vol.8 . i have 25 mixtape releases and 3 ep's close to 30 projects total all release online streets and retail.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

yes i would for a single or one album deal only the exposure is always good and can create you a good fan base for life. Or it can leave you in debt without the proper team needed to become successful
