Upcoming Dallas Rapper Francisco Is Making Waves

Featured artist: Francisco – Upcoming Dallas Rapper Francisco Is Making Waves

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Francisco.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Francisco: I saw a video on music production and instantly got into it. I started off producing and then eventually started rapping. I now rap/produce/mix/master/engineer/write all my songs. Im only 16.

Many bigger rappers and some mentors always told me that when it comes to writing, i should never force it. That it would come to me naturally.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I don’t know if i’m big enough to do a show where i can profit. But I might just do one for the fun of it and hope to gain some new fans.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

16 bringing heat, causin flames i’m acetone. Stay in your lane this ain’t a game, this ain’t rainbow road

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I am currently working on a bunch of singles that i want to release this year. I’ve scrapped a lot of them because i really want to challenge myself to only release high quality music to the fans. I recently dropped “the one” this week. It broke 1k plays in 3 days which may seem like nothing. But to me that was wild.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Possibly depending on what all i am offered. Labels pros are that they do a great job of boosting sales and getting your song heard. The biggest con i can think of is that You usually can’t release music whenever you want.

Any last words?

Shoutout the lunch niggies and my bois robert and ulises.
