I really look at music as art, it's a language that everyone can understand and connect with.
Keep going and don't give up, I feel like that's the best advice anyone can get really.

I have performed live before, which was dope, because every time I've performed, the people always feel me and it's always lit. When you come to a Tigye show, you gone remember my name for sure. I would like to give concerts, that's the goal, go on tour, and make sure everyone will never forget that moment with me.

Featured artist: MANDOBOII – Who Is This Young Artist
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist MANDOBOII.
How did you decide to become an artist?
MANDOBOII: I became to be an artist because I love music especially rap/hip hop. I’ve always had a dream to become one of the biggest out there. I’m still young but I won’t let that faze me to becoming the artist I wanna be. My parents always used to argue about not having the money they needed to pay the mortgage and other bills. I would hear them arguing all the time. Us Latinos don’t have all to good jobs coming to the us. So basically finding work is the hardest thing to do. I always told my self that when i make it big, I would do a lot more for my community then anyone has ever done. For the better of my family and also for the better of where I grow up at. That’s the reason i became an artist.
The best advice I ever got was from my Cousin who passed away this year. The advice she gave me was to not stop on what I wanted to be and to do for my career, weather it was being an engineer or an artist. That advice she gave me inspired me even more cause she would always help me during the bad times I had growing up.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
No I don’t do live performances or nor do I do any type of concerts yet.
