FRESHMAN INTRODUCTION

Featured artist: Stoley T – FRESHMAN INTRODUCTION

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Stoley T.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Stoley T: I always loved music and it's many art forms. About 9th grade was when I started to study the different genres of music and people involved. As I learned more about hip hop/ rap, I loved the way people strung words together to make mind bending punchlines, or how they came up with unique flows to create amazing quatrains. About 11th grade i started spitting and writing more, over the summer into 12th grade and into my senior year with help of a couple people I got recording equipment and started putting my own words together.

There never is a one way street, just many options on where you wanna take it, so choose wisely.

Stoley T

The rest is history.

Rxchy West: Way back when I was a child I use to watch music videos on BET and MTV and I just use to sit there Dawn and Imagine myself on Stage with the Crowd hyping me up So I started to write my Own Rhymes and putting Lyrics together I Never knew how Excelled i was with my Delivery Message or Vocabulary for my age. I come from a city where everybody wants to Rap so when I started to get Feedback and Criticism from my Community and people around me it Just Motivated me to start taking it Seriously and trying to Excellerate to a much Bigger Scale of Hip Hop.

The Best advice I have been given as a artist is Never Give up on your Dream if Music is what you want to do then Do It! and do it with Passion and Precision.

Any last words?

First and Foremost I want to Thank GOD for allowing all of this to Transpire and Blessing me With a Gift to Send a Message thru my Lyrics and Keeping me Alive and Healthy EveryDay to continue to Pursue my Dream. Grand Canyon Come Up

Featured artist: Emcee Versityle – Grand Canyon Come Up

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Emcee Versityle.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Emcee Versityle: I started when I was about 16 years old, after coming from doing poetry. I decided to be an artist so I can have fun with poetic type wordplay.

It wasn't something that was told to me necessarily, but it was more if when I heard Tech N9ne speak the truth by saying ' Just do you, and the reward will be greater.' I can't remember where I heard that from though, but I know tech said it

Emcee Versityle

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I've appeared a few times for Coast2Coast LIVE in Las Vegas, but no not really. I haven't had many shows. I'm working on that though

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Emcee Versityle

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I am working on, in my opinion, my best mixtape thus far. It is my third project, and yes I have released 2 other mixtapes called "End Of Time" and "Talk Of the Town"

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I'm still conflicted with the idea. Pros for it are that I wouldn't have to stress about money as long as I stay relevant, but the cons is that I may lose creative control. That's just one pro and con of each, I can go on forever back and forth

Any last words?

I'd like to shout out to the handful of true fans I have now, you all know who you are. Thank you for your support and I hope you continue to enjoy the music I make.

Lyricism is back and healthy

Featured artist: J.U.S Lyric – Lyricism is back and healthy

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist J.U.S Lyric.

How did you decide to become an artist?

J.U.S Lyric: As a young kid I always was fond of linguistics. The fact you can take a group of words and re arrange them to come out with so many different phrases and sentences. You can point stories if you are witty enough. And it was an escape from the problems of standing out among my peers. Basically it's what I'm supposed to do.

"Not every lion catches the elk. But 100% of those who catch it, chase it. Never let doubt and more importantly anybody else opinion of you or your life stop you. If the dream is yours only you can miss the mark"

J.U.S Lyric

What about concerts? Do you play live?

Of course. I have some upcoming shows in January and my own showcase in Feb."

Best punchline you ever wrote?

"don't speak to a king without asking permission. Iron fist rule, ram em like a taurus and beat em into submission. You need new gamelan your current one is far from efficient. You're polluting the airwaves your rhymes give off harmful emissions"

J.U.S Lyric

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I'm finishing up my EP but I have many projects that have been unreleased. I've been recording , seriously, since my senior year in High School

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I definitely would. But I know when you sign with a major you get the financial backing you need as well as a greater platform. But you have to do things, as in songs, that might not be your core. It's something to the into consideration. Independence is slowly becoming the wave agin. Just takes patience.

Any last words?

Most definitely much love to my boy QIPP SMITHERS! I linked up with Qipp in the fall of 2015 and it's been instant chemistry and brotherhood since then. All my people in Houston, Austin,Dallas, San Antonio, Florida, Spain and especially out here in Cypress I appreciate all the love and support. Last but certainly most important GOD. Without GOD and the power of GODBODY none of this would be possible. Even on the most minuscule of scales. Much love
