Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist ATM Boomer Brazed.
How did you decide to become an artist?
ATM Boomer Brazed: One day after school we were hanging out at one of my homie's crib. He showed us his beats and we started freestyling to them. He thought it would be a good idea to bring out his mic & have is record to a particular beat and we just hopped on it. It was the first song I've ever done so I was horrible as the last verse, but I loved the excitement of the experience. It wasn't until we started going over more to record more songs that I started to take the craft a little more serious & decide this could be more than an after school activity. My rhythm also got better as well. I thought this could possibly be the start of being a rapper like Lil Wayne or Young Jeezy. I started heading over to his crib solo to work on some original songs to start getting myself established as artist & better my craft because my click didn't take the music we made that seriously. When I started making 3-4 solo songs to put on myspace I knew this could be a profession that I could excel in. I started making beats myself off fruity loops and rapping to them on audio suite off of a computer mic then the rest was history.
don't let people's perceptions affect your judgement.
