The East Coast is Back

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist JC (Demolition Squad).

How did you decide to become an artist?

JC (Demolition Squad): I knew I could be one of those suit and tie kind of people, the only problem was I never wanted to be. I knew my passion for music, and poetry put together could offer a much more impacting influence in not just my own life but the lives of others. I promised myself if things got tough my music would help me get through.

The best advice I was given…. ” Its not about how good you are its about how hard you work”

JC (Demolition Squad)

What about concerts? Do you play live?

I play live on occasion, I’m only 18 so my age restricts a lot of things, but over the past few years I’ve done 2 solo shows and opened up for a few people including Styles P. at the legendary Toads place.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

Like X games I gotta grind but if she DTF pick a date and time

JC (Demolition Squad)

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

Currently I’m working on a project called ”Waiting on a Miracle” which is litterally as it sounds. I’m just putting a little bit of everything into it, a little love, little perspective, some depth to the content and of course the confidence everyone looks for.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

There’s too many variables to really answer this appropriatly, but in the long run creativity brings happiness and money comes and goes, but happiness needs to be consistent so whatever gives me that I’m down for. Nothing is off limits but I’m not in a rush to give up the freedom of being my own boss either.

Any last words?

Credit is always due for the small circle of people I consider family, my team Demolition Squad, and anyone who has ever pressed play even once on my music. Every time that button is clicked it pushes me one step closer to where I need to be.

Where can we contact you?

JC (Demolition Squad):

Thank you for your time. We wish you and your career the success it deserves.
