Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist 2NOI2Y.

How did you decide to become an artist?

2NOI2Y: 2NOI2Y are an English alternative Hip-hop duo from Manchester.

It is their love for music and similar talents, beat boxing, rapping, dancing and music production that brought the two entertainers to form the act 2NOI2Y when the met at MANCAT college. Ever being told they are too loud and very big contrasting personalities, It was their different styles and persona that created their unique chemistry and distinctive sound on and off stage.

Their energy, edge and free spirited music have given them the platform to perform in various venues across the UK promoting their talents in different art forms, and are also known to be big fans of Hiphop Theatre.

Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience and if something isn’t working don’t be afraid to change it.

What about concerts? Do you play live?

When we are not working on videos or an EP we do play live at partys, and make club appearances. We have been featured artists for Viva magazine party’s and work party’s.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

2 steps ahead of you hard to get like metaphors, but hard to get, aint hard to get, when you’re working hard to get ahead.

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

We have just released an internet video (Treadmillin) about ambition and the desire to reach your goals. We are currently working on a song and video about fitness and working out ”Yolo Dips” which is due this spring, Though we have other side projects like Make a toast a track

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

No, a record contract is a loan, contatly working under preasure to create something that will not only sell and make a profit i think you will find will stiffle your creative vision and possibly lead into using formulae and methods that have been used, which will result in the same sh*t that every other rapper out there is producing, another prototype. On the plus, the marketing power, connections and management is a big nig help. You can pretty much just have to concentrate on the music.

Any last words?

We generally aint big fans of this sort of stuff but on this occasion want to give a Big shout out to Mo who was there during the entire process of shooting the Treadmillin video, and Paul your the sh*t mate, god damnit your the Sh*t! Shout to FMG, and the everyone who has and is supporting us still.

Where can we contact you?
