Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist CT K-oth.
How did you decide to become an artist?
CT K-oth: While growing up I heard ”The Diplomats” right before their peak around ’04. As I indulged in the growing urban culture around me in Hamden/New Haven CT I began to channel my voice and passion through raps. I was always articulate and clever and people took notice. Throughout the years I learned independence was key and I wanted to do things my way so I continually upgraded my home studio and mastered my mixing. People came to listen and speak and so it began…
It’s good to get inspiration from many artist’s but never try to imitate; just take a little of what you can learn from what you admire and make it your own.
What about concerts? Do you play live?
I’ve done a couple shows and I’ve had booking agents ask me to do paid shows yet I’ve been busy working on my album and producing
