Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Elzintheflesh.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Elzintheflesh: Well I grew up playing different instruments(a little keys, trumpet, drums) in different churches in the Chicago land area and I loved music. I wrote poetry in school as well, an realized that I was good with putting my words together in the form of a rhyme. I began making my own beats with FL Studio, which wasn’t too big back then because it was just coming out, but when I was about 12 yrs old I annoyed my aunt Joan and uncle Phil for weeks about buying a mic and recording program and it’s been a part of my journey ever since. I recorded alot of inspirational songs with a couple buddys of mine under the name ”Da Messengas” and would perform them at youth church events. Once I got to high school I began to vibe with a local rap group by the name of ”UPT” and eventually started producing a few tracks with them. At the time, they didn’t know that I could rap as well but eventually that all changed. Once I saw the potential that we all had to make it bigger than we were, I took on the role as a producer/artist and I’ve been rocking with it ever since. The talent that I have is not by accident, but simply God given.
Evern though you are an artist be sure to learn the business, and continue perfecting your craft.

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist BENGI$ DOLLA$ aka YUNG RICHIE RICH.
How did you decide to become an artist?
BENGI$ DOLLA$ aka YUNG RICHIE RICH: I decided to become an entertainer when I was 8 yrs old, I say entertainer because I’m not just a rapper, or producer, or writer, or musician, I entertain. When I first saw my brother perform I was hooked, and I do this for the love not fame, money or fortune. Not to say it’s not a big part to feed my family off of it, it’s just not on the top priority list. This is all I know how to do, coming from California to Rockford, IL was a big change for me but it gave me the best of two worlds, now my music sounds like 2 different artist but staying in my own lane I couldn’t even compare to who I sound like, but be on the lookout for the new album on ARIGINAW records ”BACK 2 DA’ BASICS” dropping at the beginning of the year the first quarter……..#MRSWAGGUP

Featured artist: Tre’ Duce – The story behind the name
Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Tre’ Duce.
How did you decide to become an artist?
Tre’ Duce: I was born in Queens, New York, and I began writing at the age of 14. Growing up my father would always play music from the early days of Hip-Hop, but the artist and album that stuck out to me the most was Rakim and his 1997 album The 18th letter. During this time I tried to write songs but was too afraid of being judge. My next favorite artist became Eminem. Since I was not allowed to list to Eminem because of his explicit lyrics, I didn’t hear his music until 2003, when I was 14. The first song I heard from Eminem was “The Way I Am” on the radio. Although this song was released in 2000, it gave me the extra push to write music. As the years went on I continued writing my music until the passing of my father when I was 18. He had Type 2 Diabetes. Since I had lost father and my best friend, I became violent inside and outside of my music, but what saved me was the birth of my daughter in 2009. Now im here as the C.O.O of WorkLife™ and a hard working family man who just wants to help turn Hip-Hop back into what I remember it to be.
