Featured artist: Yung Picaso – A Sit Down With Yung Picaso

Below is a short interview with the upcoming underground artist Yung Picaso.

How did you decide to become an artist?

Yung Picaso: I decided To Become An Artist Roughly 2 Years Ago. I Grew Up Around Music. My Brothers Had A Group Called ”Globe Gang” And I Always Would Freestyle Over Their Music And me Being a Competitor I would always try and Top Whatever They Did!

You can make good music! Thats Coo And All. But You Won’t Get Anywhere In This Buisness Until You Stop Looking At Yourself As An Artist And Start Seeing Yourself As A Product. -Poncho

What are you currently working on? Did you release something in the past?

I’m Currently Finishing Up My Newest Mixtape M.B.A.M. (Man Before A Mirror) And Before this project I released solo tracks.

Last but not least: Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I Would Love To Sign A Deal With A Major Label. Ofcourse You Have Your Cons. Many Labels Try And Use You and Take Advantage! They basically Front You Money And You Pay Them Back With interest! Plus Alot Of Artist Getting Signed Aren’t Quality Artist. Just Have One Quality Hit! But If You Are A Good Artist And Have Plans On Perfecting Your Craft, Youwill Last A Long Time In The Game. Oh Yeah, Money Is Always Good.

Any last words?

I Gotta Shout out My Big Brother Gizzle Montana He’s Been Doing His Thing. LiL’ Gang$ta, He’s Been Rocking Wit Me Since My First Project. And My favorite Minnesota Artist Poncho. One Of The Realest Cats I Know
